Plant science is the scientific study that explores and identifies the 410,000 estimated species of land plant found on the earth.

Plant science is a discipline of ‘Botany’ which is a Greek word βοτ?νη (botan?) meaning pasture or fodder. It involves the observation of plant growth, characteristics and investigates the relationship between plants and their environment.

Plant science research grows, as it is required to build up new species in order to give high yield in a single crop with good nutrition. Also as research developed new techniques arrived, to generate crops with high yield in a single season with sufficient nutrional values.

Plant science development shows plants with diseases resistant, flood resistant, supports environment and also shows increased levels of economic structure by producing high yields.
