Fertilizers

Fertilizers

To give plants the vital nutrients they need for a healthy growth and development, fertilisers are compounds that are put to the soil. Fertilizers can be artificial, like synthetic fertilisers, or organic, like manure and compost. They are made up of minerals like potassium, phosphorus, and nitrogen, all of which are necessary for plant development. Increased amounts of these vital nutrients are added to the soil by fertilisers, making it easier for plants to absorb them and enabling them to develop and thrive. The structure, texture, and moisture retention of the soil can all be improved by fertilisers. Fertilizers can assist to increase agricultural productivity, soil fertility, and the environment's general health when utilised in the proper proportions.
