Title : Insight into the changes in conserved miRNA and the targets during the events leading to successful generation of scutellum derived calli in Oryza sativa
Abstract:
The conserved miRNA in plants are unique post transcriptional regulators which play a pivotal role in the growth and development. The generation of calli and its regeneration events are rather difficult to predict in lieu of different responses seen for a given media in different genotype. The justification, however has been probed using different media constituents however, no work has been done wherein the addressal of the problems associated with media constituent. In this regard we have developed various strategies wherein we look into the aspects of tissue culture at different stages and probe it. The work wherein we have deviced strategies for few of the microRNA and have been successful in probing and quantitating the responses.
