Biography:
Dr. Pratima Mathad studied Botany at the University of Mysore, Mysuru, India and graduated as M Sc in Botany in 1988. She has completed her M Phil and Ph D in Botany from Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi, India. She was subsequently appointed as Lecturer at the Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Botany, Gulbarga University and presently she is serving as a Senior Professor of Botany in the same institution. She has shouldered many administrative and academic responsibilities working on diverse areas of plant sciences and has published more than 75 research articles in various scientific journals.
