Title : The response of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) to inoculation of bio fertilizers (combination of Azotobacter chroococcum and Pseudomonas fluorescens)
Abstract:
This experiment was carried out at Baqubah nursery, Directorate of Diyala agriculture during 2017- 2018 to evaluate the response of wheat (Tritium aestivum L.) to inoculation of bio fertilizers (Azotobacter chrocooccum & Pseudomonas fluorescens) and chemical fertilizers and their interactions on some growth and yield parameters of wheat. The results showed that the chemical treatments had a significant effect on plant height (47.3 cm), grain yield (0.82g), biological yield (2.18g), harvest index (37.36%), average of seeds weight / 10 spikes (0.81g), grain yield per m2 (162g) and grain yield per hectare (1620 kg) . The bio fertilizer treatments had a significant effect on the area of flag leaf (14.0 cm2), while the interaction treatments had a significant effect on spike length (8 cm) and number of seeds per spike (29.9). According to these results, the chemical fertilizers were the most efficacy in effect on growth traits of wheat followed by the combined of chemical fertilizers and bio fertilizers then treatment of bio fertilizers alone as compared with control treatment.
