Dr. Kakha Nadiradze is a Chair of DesertNET International, holding a Doctoral Degree in Agricultural Science and he is a highly professional practitioner in the fields of Combating Desertification and Soil Erosion, Food Systems, Agricultural Cooperatives, Food Safety, Farmers Markets, Climate Smart Agriculture and Environment protection, Agrobiodiversity conservation and Gene Banking. Because of his personal and professional achievements, he has received multiple awards from FAO (Bronze Medal) and different Scholarships and internships from the European Commission, Joint Research Center, TAIEX, USAID, USDA and other International Organizations. With more than 25 years of experience, Kakha Nadiradze has positioned himself in various management positions with the vision of promoting innovative and scientific development in Climate Change and Biodiversity Conservation, he provides technical and professional advisory/consulting/extension services to producers and agricultural companies around the world in the implement ation of sustainable agricultural systems, comprehensive optimization of Agribusiness and evaluation of market opportunities.

Dr. Kakha Nadiradze is an Internationally recognized thought leader on Agribusiness, Marketing and Business Strategy and Agricultural innovation. He was ranked as; Food Logistics Champion in 2015 by the Food Logistics Magazine. He is the author o f numerous publications, scientific articles, and research. As a Strategy advisor and entrepreneur for a sustainable economy, he worked with the Boards and executives of many leading global companies and US-based companies including Universities, Farm Centers, and Biotechnology Companies including USDA and USAID. He has worked on over 50 projects, funded by the EU, UNEP, FAO, UNDP, GTZ, UNIDO, UNCCD, EBRD, World Bank, Global Risk Forum, GFAR, GFRAS, IUCN – CEM, IFOAM, EUFRAS, GODAN, AGRIVI, World Farmers Organization, WFO, World Farmers Market Coalition, WFMC and SIDA, and collaborated with national and international partners.
