Biography:
S. Mihaljevic has been a senior research associate at the Ruđer Boskovic Institute (RBI), Zagreb, Croatia, since 2013. Previously, she studied molecular biology at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, and received her PhD from the same institution in 1999. She then worked in the research group of Prof. S. Jelaska at RBI, Zagreb, and was a postdoctoral fellow in the group of Dr. J. Grima-Pettenati at CNRS, Toulouse, France, for two years. She has published more than 30 scientific papers and 6 book chapters. She teaches in the PhD programme at the University of Zagreb and the University of Osijek, Croatia. S. Mihaljević is interested in the study of regulatory processes that shape the response of plants to biotic and abiotic stress.
