Biography:
Dr. Oyelakin studied Biological Sciences (Botany Option) at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB), Ogun state, Nigeria (now FUNAAB) and graduated in 2003. He was at the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing, China for Ph.D. benchwork in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Wang Lihao. He received his Ph.D. degree in Botany (Cytology & Cytogenetics) from FUNAAB in 2018. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pure and Applied Botany, FUNAAB. He is a recipient of the TETFund-IBR Grant in Nigeria and has published more than 40 research articles.
