Biography:
Dr. Muhammad Asad Naseer is working as Postdoc Fellow in the area of Plant Stress Physiology at College of Agriculture, Guangxi University, Nanning. He obtained his PhD in Crop Science from Northwest A&F University, Yangling in 2023. Previously, he worked as Research Assistant in seed physiology lab under the supervision of Dr Irfan Afzal at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. He published over 20 refereed journal papers, many of which have sought to understand the morphological, physiological, biochemical and molecular basis of crop responses (Wheat and Maize in particular) to individual and concurrent abiotic stresses (drought, shade, cold, metal toxicity and temperature) and mechanisms imparting tolerance for such stresses.
