Biography:
Dr. Maitri Trivedi is an ANRF National Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Biochemistry and Forensic Science, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India. Her research focuses on plant biotechnology, functional genomics, and bioengineering approaches for developing climate-resilient crops. Her current work involves genome-wide identification and functional characterization of LEA genes in Solanaceae crops and investigating their roles in stress tolerance. She also explores CRISPR-based strategies for crop improvement. She has experience in plant tissue culture, molecular cloning, bioinformatics analysis, and gene expression studies.
