Biography:
Katlego Gustaff Koopa holds a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of South Africa. He is currently enrolled for a PhD in Agriculture (Plant Sciences) at the same institution. His study focuses on genetic diversity of Cucumis metuliferus collected from Botswana, Eswatini, Namibia and South Africa. The study further investigates the phytochemical properties of the collected genotypes. The project is funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF) in South Africa. The researcher is currently a lecturer in Ornamental Horticulture in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at the University of South Africa.
