Biography:
Simona Carfagna is a Permanent Researcher in the Biology Department of the University “Federico II” of Naples. Since completing her PhD and postdoctoral fellowships, she has focused her research on various aspects of plant mineral nutrition. In particular, she studies the effects of different nutrient availability on the metabolism of sulfur and nitrogen and related control mechanisms in photosynthetic organisms that live in very different environments.
