Biography:
Barbara Longwani is a PhD student whose research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms regulating potato (Solanum tuberosum) tuberization under heat stress conditions. Her work investigates the role of SP5G and associated photoperiodic, circadian, and hormonal pathways in controlling tuber development, with the broader aim of improving potato yield resilience under rising global temperatures. Outside of research, she enjoys reading and nature walks.
