Biography:
William Fernando Castrillón Cardona is a chemist from the National University of Colombia, holds master's degrees in Environmental Sciences and Educational Research, and is a specialist in Computer Science. He is a professor at the Francisco José de Caldas District University. His professional and research career has focused on the chemistry of natural products, phytochemistry, and environmental education. He has directed theses and research projects, participated in scientific events, and published articles and books. He has experience in the isolation and characterization of secondary metabolites and in the study of plant species in Colombian ecosystems.
