Biography:
Dr Laura De Gara is Full Professor of Plant Physiology at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. Member of commissions of the Italian Ministers of University and Research and of Agriculture. From 2007 to 2009 President of the Plant Oxygen Group (https://www.plantoxygengroup.eu/), From 2015 to 2017 President of the Evaluation Committee of the Research Centers of MIPAAF. In July 2018 elected Secretary General of the Federation of the European Societies of Plant Biology (www.fespb.org). Scientific interests: redox homeostasis in plants, plant-environment interactions, plant metabolites of nutritional interest. Author of 139 papers present in Scopus (https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=7003546232).
