Biography:
Dolffi Rodríguez Campos is a third-year doctoral student in Biological Sciences at the Pontifical Javeriana University (PUJ). Her research focuses on the chemical, biological, and ecotoxicological evaluation of essential oils from Piper spp. as biofungicide candidates against phytopathogens associated with gulupa (passion fruit) crops. This work is being carried out within the framework of the General Royalties System project "Utilization of species of the genus Piper for the development of fungicides applicable to the control of phytopathogenic agents associated with passionflower crops in the Central-Eastern region," in which the Phytochemistry Research Group of Javeriana University (GIFUJ) and the Research Group on the Chemistry of Bioactive Plant Natural Products of the National University of Colombia (QUIPRONAB) are participating. Her research aims to contribute to the development of sustainable alternatives for the phytosanitary management of passionflowers.
