Yung-fu Yen

National Chiayi University



Yung-fu Yen was born at 1953 in Taiwan, and accepted BS and Master degree from the National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan, and Ph.D. degree from the Massey University, New Zealand. He was a Professor and the Director of Department of Horticultural Science of National Chiayi University from 2001-2003, and the Director of Department of Bioagricultural Science and Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology from 2005-2010, which were established by me. His majors are horticultural science, greenhouse/plant factory and plant biotechnology, and most crops concentrated are asparagus, tomato, sweet pepper, lettuce, muskmelon and cucumber.
